RESEARCH

 In a conscious move to create Excellence in Learning, Heritage Polytechnic place emphasis on research. All departments are properly funded to carry out researches which are particularly focused on community-related problems, and projects that can be translated to practice and policy to improve human welfare issues, as well as making Heritage Polytechnic a research centre. Laboratories, studios and library are up to date to assist staff and researchers make the best of their ability.

Research findings from Heritage Polytechnic are published in reputable international journals.

We will be a pre-eminent academic institution, serving as a catalyst for economic prosperity and social development by preparing students for meaningful personal lives, professional accomplishments, and responsible global citizenship in an exceptionally excellent learning environment with focus on technology and management of resources.

 

Philosophy:

Merit Based Approach:  We adhere to merit as the criterion in our decision making. This applies to all aspects of our operations, from selection of faculty and staff, to admission and evaluation of students.

 

Hard Work: We believe that sustained hard work provides the underpinning for the socio-economic development of a nation. Our academic programs help develop the stamina and diligence essential for success in the increasingly competitive international environment.

Character Building: We consider character building to be an integral aspect of our programs, as learning without personal integrity will be of little value to the individual and the society. Christian values are added to students without compulsion to non-Christians.
